The North American Fisherman - the nations largest multi-species fishing magazine with a readership of over 3 million has awarded the coveted NAFC Field Test Seal of Approval to the Ultimate SmartLink.
For the past several months 200 members of America's largest fishing club have been field testing the Ultimate SmartLink and putting it through its paces. The test was coordinated to include anglers from all over the country, providing an extremely diverse set of enviro-nments and conditions. Terry Brodsky, North American's Field Test Coordinator said, "the final results are still coming in however, based on the overwhelming positive response to the Ultimate SmartLink the NAFC is very comfortable awarding the NAFC Seal of Approval."

American Sportfishing Association's (ASA) New Product Showcase drew
approximately 800 entries from over 150 show exhibitors. As ASA is the
association for the entire sport fishing industry, a broad spectrum of
freshwater, marine, ice and fly-fishing merchandise was entered in the
new product area. The array of new products in this year's showcase was
impressive and made the judges. decision very difficult. During this
tough year, the ASA members sent a strong message that the industry is
committed to innovation,. stated ASA Chairman Burt Steinberg.
The Ultimate SmartLink won the ASA Best in Category Award for terminal
tackle at the show.

"Of course it took me awhile to get hung up, because for once I wanted to, but the lure released out of the snag exactly as it was supposed to. The oblong design keeps the Lure Saver on your lure and releases the hook. The Titanium alloy did exactly what they said it would do," said Bigfish.
